Gen Art and Boxeight kick off LA Fall fashion week 2009!!
Los Angeles, CA- Amidst all the issues and controversies regarding the state of fashion week here in Los Angeles ( this is the first time that IMG will not be handling the show), GenArt, in partnership with Boxeight, successfully kicked off and brought back the Fashion week here in LA LA land last Friday, March 13. Held at the historic Los Angeles Theatre, the downtown traffic did not stop the people from attending this much awaited event. Guests from the media, press, celebrities and fashion industry all rushed to get a glimpse of the fall preview collection. The show highlighted the works of these three LA leading designers: GRAI, RAQUEL ALLEGRA AND SOCIETY FOR RATIONAL DRESS. After the show, people stayed for the after party with DJ Jasepi spinning the turntable. Here are the images from the event, (taken by AC and Ping, both of Beseeninhollywood.com).
