Produced by Dick Clark Productions, The 2009 American Music Awards will air on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 22 from 8:00-11:00 p.m. ET/PT live on ABC from the NOKIA Theatre L.A. LIVE. The 37th Annual American Music Awards is produced Larrry Klein and executive-produced by Orly Adelson. The show will feature a star-studded lineup of music’s top artists and acts.

The 2009 American Music Awards will honor artists in the categories of Pop/Rock, Country, Rap/Hip-Hop, Soul/R&B, Alternative, Adult Contemporary, Latin and Contemporary Inspirational. For the third year in a row, winners will be determined by online voting at www.amavote.com and www.mycokerewards.com, which will be live the day of the nominations.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button grabs 13 Oscar nominations.

Los Angeles, CA. - The nominees for the 81st Annual Academy Awards were announced Thursday morning in Los Angeles, California. The film Benjamin Button lead the pack with 13 nominations including Best Actor (Brad Pitt), Best Director (David Fincher), Best Supporting Actress(Taraj Henson) and Best Picture. While the movie Milk, starring Sean Penn also received Best Actor, Director and Screenplay Nomination. Slumdog Millionaire, the winner of best picture at the Golden Globe Awards a few weeks ago, garnered 8 nominations. Unfortunately, the blockbuster hit and well reviewed film, “The Dark Knight” only received one nomination, which is from Heath Ledger as Best Supporting Actor.

The Annual Holiday Toy Drive Extravaganza

On December 18, 2008, in association with the Multicultural Motion Picture Association, American Society of Young Musician, Spotlight America and Michaels & Nunez Entertainment, the annual holiday toy drive extravaganza was held at the Women’s Club in Hollywood, CA. This star studded event was for the benefit of disadvantaged children throughout Los Angeles County and also to help the MMPA Educational Scholarship Fund. The night was filled with toys from guests, drinks, food, basket of goodies & gifts and collections from movie and TV shows which are all part of the silent auction. In attendance were Sally Kirkland, head of the foundation,and celebrities such as Tony Boldi, actess Brittany Curran, Maggie Wagner, Cynthia Hruschka, Jenn Gotzon, Jennifer Ann Wilson and the Thorne siblings namely Dani, Kaili and Bella. It was a great night of dancing and holiday cheers, the best part is, it is all for a great cause. See you next year!!.
